I began painting in the autumn of 2018, a little while after gaining a fine arts degree from the University Of Derby.
For the first few months of my practice I began experimenting with Acrylic paints and then gradually ventured into oils once I was more confident. 
Through my paintings I aim to capture a variety of moments in time focusing on light and movement. I would describe my work as impressionistic with light and colour being two important elements portrayed in my paintings. 
Plein air Painting has slowly become a more prominent component of my practice, allowing me to divide my time between both studio and outdoor environments.
